at your location in The Twin Cities and Surrounding Areas.
We focus on developing dedicated riders looking to reach their
fullest potential in a supportive and fun environment.
Riders must have a horse whether it be owned or leased.
At Endeavor Equestrian, we pride ourselves in putting the horses' well-being and rider's safety first. We use an individualized approach to help our riders reach their goals and create a partnership with their horse built on trust and respect. Our riders receive a strong foundation in proper equitation which allows them to work in harmony with their horses. Our riders also learn how to listen to and communicate with the horse in a way the horse will understand. Promoting good horsemanship is very important to us which is why harsh training equipment is not used in this program.

Joanna Nyenhuis
Owner & Head Instructor
Jo has over 30 years of riding and horsemanship experience. Throughout her career, she has been fortunate to work with some very knowledgeable horsemen and women. Those people helped mold her into the instructor, trainer, and all-around horsewoman she is today.
Jo has been teaching for more than 25 years, working with riders of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced equestrians looking to refine their skills. She focuses on building confidence in her students, preparing them to handle any situation that may arise.
Her students have found success showing on multiple local circuits including the highly competitive GHJA Hunter/Jumper circuit during her time in Georgia. She focuses on supporting local show circuits to give all of her students a chance in the show ring.
Originally from Massachusetts, Jo has also lived in Georgia, New York, and Virginia. She recently relocated to Minnesota with her husband following his job transfer, bringing her wealth of experience and dedication to the local equestrian community.
