Policies

Safety Requirements: ASTM/SEI-approved helmets & proper footwear are required at all times while mounted.

Riding Attire: fitted/semi fitted shirt (spaghetti straps & crop tops are unacceptable), long pants- jeans, breeches or riding tights with paddock boots and half chaps or tall boots.

Please have your horse ready by your lesson time. If you're late the lesson still ends on time.

Lesson fees are due prior to the start of the lesson. Accepted forms of payment are: Cash or Venmo

Lesson packages must be used within 6 weeks of purchase.

Riders are responsible for securing permission and covering any fees charged by their barn for outside trainers.

There will be a $25 cancellation fee for all cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. This fee must be paid before another lesson is scheduled.

Weather related cancellations will be determined at the discretion of Joanna Nyenhuis/Endeavor Equestrian.

Where are lessons held?
Endeavor Equestrian is a traveling lesson program. I travel to your barn throughout the Twin Cities area, allowing you to learn on your own horse in a familiar environment.
Do I need to own a horse?
Yes. Lessons are designed for riders who have access to a horse whether the horse is owned, leased or borrowed.
What ages and experience levels do you teach?
I welcome riders from beginner through advanced levels both children and adults. Whether you're learning the basics, returning to riding after time away, or preparing for competition, each lesson is tailored to your individual goals.
What can I expect during a lesson?
Every lesson is personalized for you and your horse. We work on correct flatwork, jumping exercises when appropriate, rider position, horse development, confidence, and problem-solving while keeping both horse and rider progressing safely.
Can multiple riders schedule together?
Absolutely. Semi-Private and Group lessons are available for riders of similar experience levels and are a great option for friends or barn mates.
Do you help riders prepare for horse shows?
Yes. Whether your goal is attending your first schooling show or competing regularly, I can help develop the skills, confidence, and consistency needed to perform successfully.
What if I need to cancel?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. Late cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Weather cancellations made by Endeavor Equestrian are not subject to the cancellation fee.

Simply contact Endeavor Equestrian through the website or social media. I'll answer any questions, discuss your goals, confirm that you're within the travel area, and schedule your first lesson.
